Shane Jacobson Celebrates 40 Years of Service at the American Cancer Society

Shane Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of the American Cancer Society and Chief Executive Officer of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared on LinkedIn:

“One of the great privileges of this work is getting to serve alongside people who dedicate decades of their careers to helping others.
This quarter, we’re celebrating major service milestones for Miguel Sisamone (40 years), Donna Stutts (35 years), Megan Brown (30 years), and Wendy Matthews (30 years).

Together, they’ve helped expand patient support programs, strengthen partnerships, connect communities to critical resources, and advance our mission in countless ways.

Their careers are a reminder that lasting impact is built through consistent leadership, deep expertise, and a commitment to showing up for patients, families, volunteers, and one another.

The American Cancer Society is stronger because of the foundation they’ve helped build and the example they continue to set every day.

Thank you, Miguel, Donna, Megan, and Wendy, for the impact you’ve made and continue to make. Our mission is stronger because of you.”
