Sergio Cifuentes Canaval: Honored to Be a Panelist for ‘How to Make Sense of Breast Cancer Data from ESMO 2025’ Webinar

Sergio Cifuentes Canaval, Medical Oncologist at Las Américas Auna Clinic, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am truly honored to have been invited as a panelist for ‘How to Make Sense of Breast Cancer Data from ESMO 2025’, alongside an inspiring group of colleagues and international experts.

Amol Akhade, Paolo Tarantino, Elisa Agostinetto, Suman S Karanth, Sneha Bothra Jain, Atul Batra, Tarini Prasad Sahoo — thank you for the opportunity.

ESMO continues to reshape how we think about breast cancer management, from early-stage to strategies to first-line mBC sequencing and the emerging role of ADCs across disease settings.

What made this discussion meaningful:

I had the opportunity to bring the perspective of oncologists practicing in LMICs

Bridging Evidence and Access Matters.

The studies presented at ESMO 2025 has the potential to change SOC— but the way we implement this must be thoughtful, collaborative, and locally contextualized.

I am grateful for spaces like this panel, where diverse healthcare realities are acknowledged and respected. This is how we build global oncology .

Thank you to Amol Akhade, the organizers and colleagues for such a rich and forward-thinking discussion. Looking forward to continuing the exchange and working together toward equitable cancer care.”
