“I sincerely want to thank everyone who has reached out with such kindness and support. Your care has truly meant the world to me. What happened on Brown’s campus is truly tragic. My heart goes out to the two students we’ve lost and to the nine others who were hurt. Brown University is an amazing academic institution, and I never imagined I would see such pain within this community.
In times like these, we are committed to reminding our students that we are a strong community, that we should look out for one another, and that we can face these challenges with compassion, empathy, and strength.
My thoughts are with the students, their families, and everyone affected during this difficult time. Thank you.”
