Sasha Lièvre: Inspiration and Collaboration at 4th Sanofi Annual Childhood Cancer Symposium

Sasha Lièvre, Project Manager of Childhood Cancer Program at Sanofi, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“4th Sanofi Annual Childhood Cancer Symposium – A Day of Inspiration and Collaboration

On September 29, we held the 4th Annual Sanofi Childhood Cancer Symposium, this time in the U.S. after last year’s gathering in France. Each year, the event continues to grow in reach and impact!

We came together to explore how we can do more for children with cancer, and how collaboration is key to making it happen.
The day was filled with keynotes, innovation showcases, and open dialogue, all underscoring that progress only happens when science, advocacy, industry, and healthcare join forces.

Throughout the day, we heard diverse perspectives from researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, biotech innovators, and global partners, each bringing unique insights on accelerating innovation, improving access, and strengthening care worldwide.

What stood out most was the collective energy and commitment to:

  • Break down barriers through collaboration.
  • Bring safer, more effective therapies to children faster.
  • Support global initiatives to reduce disparities in care.

I’m deeply grateful to all our speakers and colleagues for sharing their expertise and challenging us to think bigger. Your perspectives truly made this symposium a space for action and hope.

Together, we continue to build momentum toward a future where every child with cancer has access to the best possible care and innovation.”
