Sarah Tasian: Celebrating a New Milestone in Pediatric Oncology Research at Utrecht University

Sarah Tasian, Pediatric Oncologist and Physician-Scientist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Hora est! What a special day in Utrecht with wonderful colleagues at the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie, prof. dr. Gregory Tasian and our family, and pediatric oncology friends at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and throughout the world attending my PhD defense in the Clinical and Translational Oncology PhD Programme at the Universiteit Utrecht (Utrecht University).

I am extremely grateful to Prof. Dr. Monique den Boer, prof. dr. Rob Pieters, Dr. Judith Boer for their guidance, my fantastic paranymphs Nicolle Besselink and Dr. Cesca van de Ven and to my expert assessment committee (Profs. Drs. Olaf Heidenreich, Barbara De Moerloose, Jan Molenaar, Max van Noesel, Inge van der Sluis, Josef Vormoor and Michel Zwaan) for a stimulating discussion!”
