“Today we have completed our first adaptive treatment for a patient with prostate cancer using the Elekta linear accelerator at Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz.
This would not have been possible without the excellent teamwork of all professionals involved (radiation oncologists, medical physicists, RTTs, nurses, engineers and many others) whose close collaboration makes adaptive radiotherapy a reality.
