”New scientific role in our Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) Biology Group with Professor Caroline Dive and Dr Kathryn Simpson!
Join us as Associate Scientist, where you’ll guide the shaping and delivery of our vision to improve the treatment of this aggressive lung cancer.

Based here in our Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute and working closely with our neighbour and partner, the Cancer Research UK National Biomarker Centre, you’ll supervise staff and students to deliver ongoing SCLC research and attract funding to develop and lead new projects. You’ll raise the profile of our laboratory group on the world stage via publications and conferences, and become a pillar member of the CRUK Lung Cancer Centre of Excellence.

If you’ve got a strong track record in basic discovery cancer research, a rich history studying tumour biology and a drive to work with others in the pursuit of success across multiple projects, we’d love to hear from you!

Apply right here by 14 June 2026 and join us in our research to save lives.”
