“I’ve just returned from a productive few days at the World Economic Forum, where the AstraZeneca delegation has engaged on the urgent need and opportunity to invest in health to strengthen communities and economies.
Through 60+ engagements with governments and key stakeholders, including dialogues with Prime Ministers and Presidents and an AstraZeneca-hosted roundtable, we’ve discussed how to enhance life sciences competitiveness, increase access to medical innovation and – critically – improve population health.
From Germany, the UK and Belgium to Spain, Portugal, Romania and the EU, the discussions I had were were open, candid and action focused. This has left me more motivated than ever about how we can improve patients’ health outcomes through continued partnership.
