Ruiling Yuan, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, shared on LinkedIn:

“ROC ’27 – Save The Date!

Excited for the Rural Oncology Conference (ROC) 2027!

Rural communities deserve access to high-quality, innovative cancer care, regardless of geography.

I’m honored to be involved in planning ROC ’27, bringing together researchers, clinicians, advocates, and community leaders around research, education, policy, and community to help close the rural cancer care gap.

Mark your calendar, hope to see you in Chapel Hill!”

Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, Assistant Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, also shared about conference, adding:

“This year’s Rural Oncology Conference had truly fantastic energy, with wonderful people sharing their experience, passion, and commitment to delivering the best possible cancer care to every patient, regardless of ZIP code.

The patient stories from Zachary Schroeder and JJ Singleton were deeply moving, and the story of how this conference began was equally inspiring.

Thank you all for including me. It is a true privilege to serve as co-chair of the ROC planning committee.

Working with some Legends!”
