Robin Zon, Chair ASCO Society Board at American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), shared on LinkedIn:
“Thank you to the Missouri State affiliate for having me join you last week. I had the honor of meeting new friends – Dr. Joseph Muscato, SAC Representative – and catching up with old friends – Dr. Mary Klix, past Alaska State Affiliate President and Amy Lydic, Executive Director.
This was an outstanding meeting and I so appreciate learning from the Senator’s office about the Federal Program to assist Missouri residents with cancers (21 of them) as a result of Uranium exposure.

This was a very informative discussion and given the transient nature of Americans, it is possible that colleagues may be treating patients who may have had this exposure. This was really important information to have and to share.
Kudos to the MOS Board and leadership as well as to Amy Lydic for all your hard work for cancer care delivery in your state!”
