Robin Reschke, Max-Eder Research Group Leader at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Perspective matters, sometimes you learn the most when you’re teaching.
After many years of teaching medical students, I recently had two particularly meaningful new experiences. Two weeks ago, I took part in the NCT Patient Day as a skin cancer expert. It was a valuable opportunity to hear directly from patients what truly matters to them.
Last week, I also had the chance to teach future nurses about skin cancer. Their curiosity and engagement were fantastic.
A good reminder that we don’t just learn within our own field, but especially through different perspectives.”
