Roberto Contieri, Urologist at the National Cancer Institute G. Pascale Foundation, Naples, Italy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After the success of the 7th edition of UroNews, Naples is ready to host another international meeting dedicated to uro-oncology: SYNERGY-GU
On 28–29 May, SYNERGY 2026 will bring together an outstanding faculty of national and international experts to discuss the most relevant challenges in contemporary uro-oncology.
This year, the discussion will be built around locally advanced disease, a setting that increasingly requires close integration between surgery, systemic therapies, radiation therapy, imaging, pathology, and shared multidisciplinary decision-making.
Prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer will be addressed through keynote lectures, round tables, and debated clinical cases, with a strong multidisciplinary perspective.
A central theme will be the evolving role of the urologist and surgery within integrated treatment strategies, alongside medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and all members of the MDT.
I am really looking forward to contributing to this important scientific exchange in Naples.
