Robert Stone։ City of Hope Marks 20 Years of Advancing Cancer and Aging Care

Robert Stone, Chief Executive Officer of City of Hope, shared on LinkedIn:

“The next chapter in cancer and aging will be shaped by all of us.

Twenty years ago, City of Hope recognized something that is even more urgent today: caring for people with cancer means understanding how aging changes the experience of the disease, treatment and survivorship.

Today, more than half of all people with cancer are over age 65, and nearly 70% of cancer survivors are over 65.

As we mark the 20th anniversary of City of Hope’s leadership in cancer and aging, I’m especially grateful to William Dale and the entire City of Hope team whose work continues to advance the science, improve care and shape the future of this field.

Together, we have an opportunity to shape what comes next.”
