“This past Thursday morning Abbott announced the agreement to join forces with Exact Sciences in the global fight against cancer. Thursday afternoon I was able to visit the campus in Madison and Friday morning in San Diego. It was great to connect with future colleagues, talk about Abbott and answer questions about the future. And it is promising. We should never take for granted those that work in healthcare. What they have and will continue to do. Walking past this wall in Madison is now my continual reminder of what’s ahead. We will not stop.”
