“New research presented at the 2025 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium suggests that acupuncture may help breast cancer survivors feel less “brain fog.”
In a clinical trial of 260 breast cancer survivors, acupuncture improved how participants perceived their memory, focus, and ability to do daily tasks compared with usual care alone.
Acupuncture also showed benefits for objective cognitive function (measured with standardized memory tests), especially among survivors who already had measurable cognitive impairment at the start of the study.
