Rob Winn: Training the Next Generation of Cancer Researchers at CABTRAC 21st Cancer Biology Annual Retreat

Rob Winn, Director at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

The Cancer Biology Training Consortium (CABTRAC) 21st Cancer Biology Annual Retreat is an incredible network dedicated to training the next generation of cancer researchers. CABTRAC brings together over 80 U.S. institutions to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and advance graduate, medical, and postdoctoral training in cancer biology.

Being part of this consortium allows us to:
  • Innovate in training approaches to prepare future leaders in cancer research.
  • Reduce disparities by ensuring training programs are accessible.
  • Build community trust and encourage participation in research initiatives.

Through events like the Cancer Biology Annual Retreat, CABTRAC strengthens our connections, inspires collaboration, and drives progress in the fight against cancer. I’m proud to contribute alongside such dedicated colleagues and institutions.”
