“In 1987, the Boston College lacrosse team and Olympians swam together across Long Island Sound. That was the beginning of Swim Across America and a mission to fund cancer research and detection to improve treatment and quality of life. More than $150M has been raised since that first charity swim.
On March 14, 2026, Swim Across America will be at Boston College. You can Make Waves to Fight Cancer by doing a cannonball, swimming a lap or a mile. Whatever you want, turn hope into action and be part of the movement that began nearly 40-years ago.”
