Rita A. Sakr, Clinical Adjunct Professor at the University of Sharjah, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“They say that a hospital is a second home, and after my time at ‘Emirates Hospitals Group Jumeirah’, I can certainly attest to that.
It is very hard to find the right words to summarize what this journey has meant to me except finding another family.
- To my colleagues : thank you for your incredible support and friendship. I will truly miss you.
- To the nursing and clinical staff: very heartful thank you for everything. You are, quite simply, the heartbeat of the hospital. I have learned as much from you as I have from any conference. Thank you for your patience and for the grace you showed our patients every single day.
- To the administrative and support teams: thank you for all the work behind the scenes that allowed us to focus on patients care. I am deeply grateful for your patience and hard work.
Healthcare is a demanding calling and it takes us away from our families but another family was at EHJ. I am moving with a piece of my heart remaining there.
It was an incredibly amazing experience to lead the Breast Clinic and Breast MDT along with great colleagues at Emirates Hospitals Group Jumeirah.
Thank you so much dear everyone for the trust you placed in me, the lessons you taught me, the patience you showed and the friendship you offered.
I wish ‘EVERYONE’ continued peace, strength, health, and success.”
