Richard Price, Policy Director at European Cancer Organisation, shared a post on LinkedIn by European Cancer Organisation, adding:
“The European Parliament is where Your voice is most consistently represented in the great debates about EU policy. Elected representatives connecting back to voters to convey the citizen perspective.
And so it is that Vlad Voiculescu, co-chair of the European Parliament Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Disease, wants to hear Your inputs to a future report of the Parliament on Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
Tell him what’s on your mind, what you think the successes – and areas for improvement – in EU cancer policy are, and help inform his first draft report. The survey is short and to the point. Time filling in the form is time well spent.”
Quoting European Cancer Organisation’s post:
“Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan set out a most ambitious agenda spanning: prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, quality of life, survivorship, research, and innovation. Five years on, it is time to take stock of the progress.
The European Parliament’s rapporteur for the Cancer Plan’s report, Vlad Voiculescu, invites healthcare professionals, patients and carers, researchers, and decision-makers to share their views on
- the impact of measures, initiatives, or funding streams
- usefulness of EU-level actions
- possible shortcomings of the Plan
- priorities for the next phase of the Plan
Your insights, including evaluations, best practices and lessons learned, will help inform future policies. Feedback is invited by 15 February.”
