“ESMO Immuno-Oncology Congress 2025 – you were phenomenal.
It has been a very proud moment for me to get to present my multi-centre work on atezo-bev outcomes in advanced liver cancer. Shivan Sivakumar and I speculate this is the biggest UK dataset out there. Watch this space for an incoming publication!
As an early career researcher and first year MedOnc registrar, it was particularly good to orbit the same arena as individuals, such as Prof Samra Turajlić and Dr Daniela Thommen who, for me, were the standout contributors at the conference.
A particular highlight was getting to meet Anna Olsson-Brown and Alexandra Johnson and the fabulous work being done by Immuno-Oncology Clinical Network. Hopefully I can contribute in a meaningful way sometime soon.
Final shoutout goes to Dr Susan Graham for the kindness and also excitement around the novel innovations being concocted at OxSonics.”
