Rasha Aboelhassan, Senior Oncology Consultant at Nasser Institute Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday, I had the privilege of engaging with colleagues and friends at Move Against Cancer Africa (MACA), where I delivered a session on mesothelioma.
What stood out was not just the lecture itself, but the depth of discussion that followed. Through case-based scenarios, we challenged real-world decisions and explored the nuances that often define outcomes in this complex disease.
We went beyond headline data—diving into subgroup and sub-analysis from key clinical trials—to critically assess where the true survival benefit may lie, and how we can better translate evidence into meaningful impact for our patients.
This is what makes MACA unique:
a space where education is active, discussions are purposeful, and every conversation is anchored around one central question—how do we improve our patients’ chances?
I would like to thank everyone person participating in this session.”
