Ransom Onyema: Thoughtful Perspectives on Balance Between Technology and Clinical Intuition

Ransom Onyema, Medical Radiographer, Freelance Medical Writer at Medentee, shared on LinkedIn:

“As a medical radiographer, it’s so genuinely fascinating seeing how AI is becoming more present in medical imaging and gradually re-shaping the future of radiology and healthcare systems.

Technology is evolving fast, but conversations around human judgment, trust, patient safety, and decision-making remain incredibly important, especially in high-stakes environments involving children.

That’s why I had the opportunity to invite Professor Susan Shelmerdine MBBS PhD, a pediatric radiologist based in London at Great Ormond Street Hospital For Children, an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL, and a visiting professor at City St George’s University, for a chit chat on my YouTube channel.

We had such an insightful conversation on the topic titled:

‘Inside Pediatric Radiology: Professor Susan Shelmerdine on High-Stakes Decisions.’

She solely shared thoughtful solid perspectives on AI, radiology, and the balance between technology and clinical intuition.

It’s now live on my YouTube channel, link in the comments section.”
