“Delighted to see this announcement.

Fantastic news which will enable prevention of many more cancers and many more lives being saved. It has been the culmination of a long journey of population BRCA testing in the Jewish community which started in 2008, encompassing a PhD, multiple papers, a NHS Innovation accelerator fellowship, working with NICE, and engagement and working the NHS England Cancer Programme team and multiple stakeholders for programme development and implementation.

A massive thank you to the huge number of colleagues, researchers, stakeholders, clinicians, health professionals, NHS Innovation Accelerator, NHS England Cancer Programme team, the ICR NHS-JBRCA team, North Thames GMSA team, community charities, community leadership, cancer charities and multiple stakeholders involved with supporting these efforts over the years and making this happen.”
