“Today marks the beginning of my third month at Wilmot Cancer Institute.
I came in with a plan to spend these first months listening more than talking, and it’s been the right call. In conversations with faculty, residents, nurses, therapists, APPs, and staff across UR Medicine, one theme comes through every time: people here are deeply invested in their patients and in this region.
I’ve learned more from those conversations than from any orientation binder. There’s real momentum here – in the clinic, in research, and in how this team shows up for the community.
Month 3 begins today. Still listening, still learning, and genuinely excited about where we’re headed together.”
