Rahat Ul Ain, Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Child Health Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ISPNO2026 22nd International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology was far more than an academic gathering – it was a catalyst for better care, stronger collaborations, and renewed hope.
The biggest challenge of bridging the gap between high-resource and resource-limited settings requires more than innovation. It requires knowledge sharing, mentorship, and a commitment to global collaboration.
Truly grateful for the opportunity to attend ISPNO 2026 in Sydney – presenting our experience and challenges in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology in Pakistan to the global audience; attending the incredible educational day, excellent GCT Workshop, and an outstanding scientific program with a special perk of reconnecting with my VPNOF family, mentors, collaborators and friends from around the world.
My sincere thanks to the ISPNO2026 organizers, St. Jude Global (EMRO) and St. Jude Global Neuro-Oncology VPNOF Program for the support and travel scholarships and helping us move one step closer to equitable care for every child with a brain or spinal tumor in Pakistan.”
