”A good day for Kenya and a good day for cancer care in Africa.
Today in Mombasa, together with Hon Aden Duale and Governor Abdullswamad Sharrif Nassir, proud to inaugurate a new linac machine at CoastReferral under IAEAorg’s initiative, with financial support from the USA. And another linac is also being launched today in Nakuru.
For too long, many cancer patients had to travel abroad for treatment. Now, more people will be able to receive lifesaving care closer to home. Kenya is showing what can be achieved through commitment, partnership and solidarity.
This is what Rays Of Hope is about: changing lives for better and bringing care where it is needed most.”
