Rachel Purcell, President of Te Pūao Mātai Pukupuku New Zealand Society for Oncology, Group Head of University of Otago, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re excited to share the first webinar in the New Zealand Society for Oncology Immunotherapy Toxicity series, now available free to view on the NZSO website.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors have transformed cancer treatment, but they can also cause complex and sometimes serious toxicities. Early recognition and timely management are critical, and this series aims to provide practical, accessible guidance for healthcare professionals.
This first webinar is particularly aimed at primary health providers, emergency department clinicians and other health professionals who may encounter patients receiving immunotherapy outside specialist oncology settings.

Huge thanks to our speakers and everyone involved in bringing this series together.”
