“On Friday we hosted esteemed colleagues from the leadership and board of National Cancer Institute of Kenya.
Thank you Dr. Elias Mrlly, Benson Nyambega and Emily Barsito for coming to visit us at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester Cancer Research Centre.
We were delighted to discuss research and training partnerships potential, and to show you our new collaborative research facilities, clinical trials unit, and beautiful Christie Charity funded patient and staff garden.
Our talks followed a successful Kenya UK Healthcare Alliance conference earlier this week in London, and we look forward to future ambitions which build on existing Manchester-Kenya partnership working and contribute to the broader alliance.
