Qatar Cancer Society shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Qatar Cancer Society, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Kahramaa Awareness Park – Tarsheed, organized the ‘Let’s Draw a Smile’ event, with the participation of students from Al Rayyan Private School, Al Andalus School, Al Maha Academy, and Al Faisal International Academy.

The event began with a speech from Qatar Cancer Society, followed by a speech from Mr. Mohanad Al Yafei, Head of the Awareness and Community Development Section at the Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department.

A special highlight of the event was the participation of young cancer survivor Burhan Musab Makkawi, who shared his inspiring story and journey through illness and recovery, delivering a powerful message of hope, positivity, and strength.
The event also featured a variety of educational and awareness segments and interactive activities, aimed at delivering important health messages to students in an engaging and innovative way, while emphasizing the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

Our sincere thanks to all participating schools and to our valued partners and supporters, Snoonu and Trampo Extreme, for their contribution to the success of the event and for helping us bring smiles to children’s faces.”
