“On the occasion of Gynecological Cancers Awareness Month in January, and under the slogan ‘Together for Her,’ Qatar Cancer Society, in collaboration with the Community College, organized an awareness event entitled:
‘Awareness Today… Protection Tomorrow | Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine.’
The event aimed to raise awareness among female students and highlight the importance of the HPV vaccine in preventing several HPV-related cancers.
The event featured a panel discussion with distinguished speakers from the Women’s Health and Research Center and the Primary Health Care Corporation, as well as an inspiring story from a survivor of the pre-cervical cancer stage, in addition to an accompanying health exhibition.
