Punam Rana, Co Lead Meditation in Oncology at Humber River Health Research Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today I had the privilege of speaking at the Breast Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Cwre Conference about integrating mindfulness into cancer care.
The evidence is clear: mindfulness reduces depression, anxiety, and cancer-related fatigue. Major guidelines now recommend it for all cancer patients.
This is no longer a “nice to have”—it is a meaningful, necessary component of comprehensive cancer care.
Thank you to the clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates who joined the discussion. Your engagement gives me hope for a future where we treat both the body and the mind with equal intention.
If you’re interested in mindfulness programs for cancer patients, healthcare professionals, or working mothers, I’d be happy to connect.”
