Medicaid Cancer Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday, during International Cancer Week, the Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) was honored to be part of a panel session organized by the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment and sponsored by AstraZeneca.
We shared insights on our impactful collaboration with AstraZeneca through Project ICON – an initiative aimed at screening 2,000 men for prostate cancer.
Through this partnership, we surpassed expectations, screening over 800 men in just five days and a total of 2,500 men across Abuja and Kebbi.
As we reflect on these milestones, we look ahead to WalkAway Cancer 2025 – the 11th Edition, where we’ll continue driving conversations and actions around early detection, prevention, and equitable access to cancer care.
Together, we’re breaking barriers, promoting early detection, and advancing cancer care for men across Nigeria.”
