Princess Dina Mired: Upcoming Dialogue With Eman Shannan About Cancer, Conflict, Survival

Princess Dina Mired, Past President of the Union for International Cancer Control, Member of WHO Expert Technical Group for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Speaker Spotlight: Eman Shannan

Eman is a cancer survivor, patient advocate, humanitarian leader, and founder of the Aid and Hope Program for Cancer Patients Care in Gaza, the first patient-led cancer organization in Gaza. For years, she has supported women and their families navigating cancer in one of the world’s most fragile and challenging humanitarian settings, advocating for patients facing conflict, displacement, restricted access to treatment, and severe shortages of medical resources.

In this episode of Global Health Dialogues, Eman shares her personal experience as a cancer survivor, the realities of supporting patients in Gaza, the impact of war on cancer care, and her journey of resilience, loss, advocacy, and hope in the face of unimaginable challenges.

Join us for a deeply moving conversation about cancer, conflict, survival, and the power of speaking up when silence costs lives.

Coming soon on Global Health Dialogues with Princess Dina.

Presented by OncoDaily.”
