“One of the key responsibilities of the President’s Cancer Panel is to monitor the National Cancer Program. But what is that program, exactly?

The National Cancer Program encompasses the many individuals and organizations—both public and private­—whose actions affect the burden of cancer for patients, families, and communities across the United States. The Panel examines a broad range of issues facing the National Cancer Program and, through its reports, calls on stakeholders from all corners of the cancer community to take action toward reducing the burden of cancer.”
