Prakash Umbarkar, Radiation Therapist at P. D. Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai, India shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a great honor to deliver a faculty lecture at ARTTICON 2025 in Hyderabad on “Future Vision 2030: Transforming Patient Positioning and Immobilization in Radiation Therapy.” I was also glad to share some key highlights from the recent ESTRO Congress focused on the future of patient positioning and immobilization.
My heartfelt thanks to our Founder Sir for the kind invitation and opportunity to share my thoughts. Special appreciation to Appari Sridhar Sir for seeing the dream and turning it into reality. The Hyderabad radiation therapists team showed true unity and dedication, making this event a grand success and a proud moment for our profession.
I am also grateful to the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) Focus Group members, and it was a great privilege to meet my focus group team member Mr. Claudio Votta. It was a truly inspiring and memorable meeting, and I see it as a great opportunity for future collaborations.
My sincere thanks to all association committee members and my fellow Indian radiation therapists for their constant encouragement and support. Proud to be part of this journey and hopeful for the bright future of our field.”
