Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“UICC staff join Pink October with members and partners worldwide to raise awareness about early detection, prevention, support, and hope for all those affected by breast cancer.
UICC staff are also taking part in a small awareness challenge this month: asking at least three people in their close circle – family or friends – if they’re paying attention to their breast health.
This could involve regular self-checkups, consulting a gynecologist or doctor, scheduling a mammogram, or simply being aware of any changes in breast size, shape, or other symptoms.
A small reminder can make a big difference. Early detection saves lives.”
