Dispatch Bio Reaches a Milestone in Solid Tumor Immunotherapy – PICI

Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) shared on LinkedIn:

”Congratulations to PICI portfolio company Dispatch Bio on reaching an important milestone in advancing a new approach to treating solid tumors.

Dispatch announced that the first participant has been dosed in a Phase 1 trial of DISP-10, an investigational immunotherapy for advanced gastrointestinal cancers. The program has also received FDA Fast Track designation.

This achievement is a powerful example of the PICI model in action: helping translate promising science into new immunotherapies and companies with the potential to deliver meaningful impact for patients.”

Kristen Dahlgren, Chief External Affairs Officer at Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, shared PICI‘s post, adding:

”This is an exciting day for patients and their families. I lost my Dad to GI cancer. Could this technology have saved him? Maybe. How I wish it had been around to try.

At the same time, I’m so proud to be doing work that could save other families from this kind of loss ( and I know he would have been proud too.)”
