“It was a great privilege and pleasure to host Matteo Benelli for the Università degli Studi di Firenze for the ‘Meet the Onclogy Expert‘ seminar at Institut Jules Bordet in Brussels.
Matteo serves as Co-PI of the AURORA molecular screening program. His talk discussed muti-omics and precision medicine in metastatic breast cancer. In the first part of his talk, he presented recent results from AURORA.
In the second part, he showed data from his lab on liquid biopsy methylomics including the contribution of METER to inferring breast cancer subtypes.
Also an opportunity to connect to Matteo on a personal level. Belgium adopted him for the World Cup as Italy is not participating this year.”
