“Congrats to Ilaha Isali and our team on our latest UK Biobank study.
We found that UGT1A6 rs17863783 can flip the script on bladder cancer risk: In heavy smokers (>30 pack-yrs): 80% lower risk (OR 0.20, CI 0.09–0.40) variant up UGT1A helping detoxify tobacco and industrial carcinogens.”
