“Yesterday at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, we were proud to unveil the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation’s new enduring strategy to our colleagues and partners.
The strategy is designed to be simple, clear and focused on what matters most, strengthening our impact and enabling Peter Mac to remain a global leader in research-led cancer care.
Craig Connelly, CEO of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, shared:
“At the heart of this strategy are our supporters. Every day, individuals and communities stand beside Peter Mac—people who give regularly, take part in fundraising events, attend the Peter Mac Cup, volunteer in their communities, and philanthropic partners who advance cancer research. Their generosity enables our clinicians, researchers and care teams to access the equipment, technology and resources they need to deliver world-leading care. Quite simply, the impact we achieve is made possible by the people who choose to support us.”
We were honoured to be joined by Bruce Akhurst, Professor Jason Payne, Professor Rosemary McKenzie and Professor Shahneen Sandhu, who helped bring the strategy to life. We’re excited for what this next chapter will achieve for our community.
