“Peter Mac nurses demonstrated national leadership at last week’s Cancer Nurses Society Of Australia (CNSA) Annual Congress in Perth.
Eighteen representatives contributed across a program spanning workforce development, education, evolving models of care, patient and carer support, culturally inclusive practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Our team presented case studies, led discussions and contributed to shaping the future of cancer nursing. Highlights included development of a Neuroendocrine Tumour Nurse Practitioner role, advancing prehabilitation nursing practice and research into cancer carer wellbeing.
As a close collaborator of CNSA, Peter Mac values the strong partnership that supports knowledge exchange, professional development and progress in cancer nursing across Australia.
