PITCH: Penn State Students Raise $2M+ in 2.5 Weeks for Childhood Cancer Patients

Penn State THON raises record-breaking $2,077,353.59 during 17-day “Dream Forward” campaign

On Wednesday, Penn State THON (THON) unveiled the cumulative fundraising efforts of the “Dream Forward” campaign, a 17-day fundraising and awareness initiative that challenged the THON Community to raise.

In the seventh annual campaign, THON exceeded its goal and raised $2,077,353.59. By students, alumni, donors, and supporters making countless contributions, THON was able to unite for the shared dream of a day when no parent will ever hear the words “your child has cancer.”

The campaign concluded during an on-campus celebration called “100 Days ‘Til THON,” which marks a countdown until Penn State students will take a 46-hour stand without sitting or sleeping to conquer cancer. Last year, THON raised its highest-ever annual total of more than $17.7 million for its sole beneficiary, Four Diamonds. THON Weekend 2026 will take place at the Bryce Jordan Center on February 20-22.
