“This year’s Party with a Purpose, an annual philanthropic gala to support the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), will recognize Robert Vonderheide, director of Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center and president-elect of the AACR, as the Scientific Achievement Honoree.
Andrew Rech, an assistant professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Penn, was nominated by Vonderheide as the Early Career Investigator Honoree.
Both are being honored for their achievements and ongoing efforts to advance cancer immunotherapy.”
