“Launch of the Swedish Cancer Hub yesterday in beautiful Stockholm City Hall together with a country report about the state of cancer care in Sweden, by Norbert C. from European Cancer Organisation.
Dr Elisabete Weiderpass from IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization and me from the Cancer Mission Board and Hugo R. Soares Echos and more representing the European perspective.
Of course the Minister of Health, Elisabet Lann was the keynote speaker, together with Björn Eriksson, Director General at Socialstyrelsen – National Board of Health and Welfare.
Together with stakeholders from all areas of cancer, I hope the CMH will be a connection point for working together, to improve the lives for people living with cancer. Thank you to all who organised this important evening.”
