Paolo Tarantino, Research Fellow Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical Schoolpost, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Back from JBCS26 with a luggage full of inspiration and new connections.
I had the opportunity to share some thoughts on how local developments in ADC science reshaped the global landscape (starting from the Japanese development of the deruxtecan linker-payload platform!)
I was joined in the Plenary Session by tremendous colleagues and friends (Michail Ignatiadis, Joana Ribeiro, Matteo Lambertini, Gustavo Werutsky), each with unique angles on how regional nuances can impact global breast cancer treatment and vice versa – with the session wonderfully co-chaired by Shigehira Saji and Sung-Bae Kim
Lastly, I truly enjoyed discussing the impact of social media in medicine with Japanese oncologists. SoMe platforms are a goldmine of opportunities for networking and spreading of ideas, yet require caution for adequate navigation.
Thank you Shigehira Saji for this kind invitation!”
