“A facility inaugurated today that looks to the future, symbolized by an image reminiscent of Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” but instead representing the vital map of a tumor photographed by a scanning microscope.

This is one of the leading lines of research of the first laboratory in Southern Italy entirely dedicated to immuno-oncology, created thanks to a donation from the Irti Foundation, chaired by Natalino Irti, within the Laboratories in Mercogliano of the National Cancer Institute IRCCS G. Pascale, Napoli, Italy and directed by Paolo A. Ascierto.
