“A first seizure can be the first sign of cancer.
In ~50,000 patients
- Cancer risk increased 5x
- Brain tumors increased 76x
- Highest risk in the first month ~4% are diagnosed with cancer within a year (~1 in 25 pts)
Not just a neurological event, sometimes it’s the diagnosis announcing itself.”
