We spoke about what different healthcare systems can teach us, why returning home mattered to him, and what ‘good oncology’ really means when resources, access, and affordability can look very different from one country to another.
We also discussed the reality of cancer care during natural disasters, the challenges of access to radiotherapy, and whether more technology always translates into better care.
