Olubukola Ayodele: Looking Forward to Speaking at the UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium

Olubukola Ayodele, Breast Cancer Lead at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am looking forward to speaking on ‘Breast Cancer Inequities: The Interplay of (Epi)genetics and Structural Racism’ at The UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium (UKIBCS) in Birmingham next week.

The difference between breast cancer outcomes sits at the intersection of tumour biology, lived experience, and the systems in which care is delivered.

I’ll be joined by fellow speakers Miriam Mutebi and Alison Berner at the session titled “What to do when a diagnosis of breast cancer collides with existing health disparities”, chaired by the formidable duo of Prof Charlotte Coles and Dr Susie Stanway.

UKIBCS is a biennial meeting that brings together the brightest minds across the breast cancer care continuum to discuss and translate the latest evidence into life-changing clinical practice.

Join us in Birmingham on January 19th and 20th.

Programme and registration.”
