Ola Khorshid, Department Chair of Medical Oncology and Malignant Hematology at National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cairo University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to contribute as a speaker at Loyola University Chicago on global molecular pathology and the implementation of precision medicine.
The discussion highlighted a central challenge in modern oncology: how to translate rapidly advancing molecular diagnostics into realworld clinical impact across diverse health systems. From infrastructure gaps to workforce training and access to testing, the science is moving quickly, but implementation remains uneven.
Engaging with faculty and trainees at Loyola reinforced the importance of bridging discovery science with practical delivery models that are adaptable, scalable, and globally relevant.
Grateful for the opportunity to exchange perspectives on how we can move precision medicine from concept to consistent clinical practice worldwide.”
